Know what each resource is for, when you receive it and how it supports your portfolio and business. TCI’s proprietary materials are included in your workshop fee.

Your materials arrive electronically. Use them to turn ideas into a plan, prepare for fieldwork and organise work you can present to prospective clients.

Confirmation, dates and preparation schedule

When: Immediately after payment.

Confirmation identifies your selected package and season. Residency dates show when your workshop takes place. Travel responsibilities explain the arrangements and third-party costs you manage yourself. Your preparation schedule outlines the tasks to complete before fieldwork.

A short introduction to TCI’s working method: start with a traveller’s question, decide what evidence is needed and plan content that helps them make a decision. The sample is an illustrative teaching example, not completed resident work.

Preparation material that helps you clarify your direction, consider the traveller you want to serve and arrive ready to use TCI’s proprietary portfolio building system. Work through it alongside your preparation schedule so your workshop time begins with a plan.

The business sheets and working forms you use during the residency and can apply to future client work. They support a practical business strategy and clearer conversations about briefs, scope, deliverables and usage rights. You practise using the documents as part of the workshop.

When: During preparation, before fieldwork.

TCI’s proprietary shoot-planning and production resources help you connect a brief with purposeful coverage. The walkthrough explains how to use the tools to plan what to capture, organise your fieldwork and review the result. Detailed shoot lists are shared with enrolled residents.

Continued access and your own copies

You can use the supplied links while they remain active. Download and save all materials within 30 days of program completion so you have your own copies. Links may be updated or retired as the program changes.
