Travel Content Creator Residencies

Build the portfolio, decisions and working systems that turn creative ability into client-ready work.

Where Travel Creators Become Professionals.

TCI residencies combine structured education with practical assignments in a real travel setting. Create work with a clear purpose and show how you planned, produced and refined it.

Choose Paris, London or Paris + London for spring or autumn 2027. Both seasons begin in London, followed by a travel day and Paris.

Combined residency: March 23–31, nine consecutive days.

Autumn 2027

Combined residency: November 2–10, nine consecutive days.

What you learn to do with your work

Turn a traveller’s question into a brief. Choose the evidence you need, plan your shots, create video and photographs, and review the result against its purpose.

Build and organise at least one edited video and three photographs per residency day as a starting point. Work towards five finished category pitch videos, 100 distinct shots, your creative and creator portfolios, and an extensive reusable b-roll library.

Practise a discovery conversation, scope an assignment and prepare a clearer pitch. The aim is a usable creative and business method, not a guaranteed commission or client.

See the skills and working process for the four-day progression and a clearly labelled illustrative assignment. Explore Charlotte’s original sample photography for examples of creative range, not resident results.

Spaces are limited. Registration is first come, first served.

A clear path from choosing to preparing

Before you buy: Compare the city packages and select your season. Read the short registration details and the Purchase Terms to understand what is included and what you arrange yourself.

Before payment: Complete the short enrolment form and confirm that you have read and understood the policies. Then choose the matching season, package and USD or CAD PayPal button on the payment page.

After payment: Keep your receipt. TCI matches your enrolment submission to your PayPal payment, then sends a welcome email confirming your package and dates. Emergency contact details are collected afterwards as part of preparation. Your residency preparation materials arrive electronically in advance.

Prepare, create and review: Complete your post-registration tasks and seven-day preparation, then put your documents to work through daily assignments, guidance and feedback.

Build a portfolio with range and purpose

Five finished brand pitch videos: Create one for each of five travel categories: accommodation; attractions and tourism; transport and travel services; food and hospitality; and travel tech and gear. Each introduces your approach, shows relevant work and explains the value you can offer brands in that category.

100 distinct shots: Your residency includes a resident-only shoot-planning resource to help you build a broad collection of footage for your portfolio videos and reusable b-roll library. The detailed shoot lists are shared with enrolled residents.

Your portfolios: Select finished category work for your creative portfolio. Build a compact creator portfolio with an introduction, selected examples, services, contact details and short project descriptions explaining your decisions. Leave with a completed starter portfolio, or a structured foundation with finished pieces, organised supporting assets and a clear completion plan.

Your reusable b-roll library: Create in some of London and Paris’s most iconic settings and everyday travel environments. Organise an extensive footage library you can draw from for future client projects, recording locations, permissions and usage restrictions.

The four-day residency establishes this core portfolio offering. Paris + London gives you more time and two settings to develop its range and depth. Five category pitch videos and 100 distinct shots describe the core offering, rather than five videos per city.

Start your enrolment

Your next step is to complete the short enrolment form. Choose your residency, season and payment currency, and confirm that you have read and understood the policies. You will then continue to the PayPal payment options.

Read this before you click pay. Review the policies before completing your purchase.
