Kelvorinook House · Fictional business for TCI resident training

A useful pause between journeys.

A compact station-area hotel in London, United Kingdom, for short stays and onward rail travel.

A stay that fits your journey

Kelvorinook House is a fictional 32-room hotel designed around travellers arriving by rail, spending a night or two in London and moving on. We keep the offer simple: a private room, a practical place to unpack and breakfast before the next leg.

The imagined hotel sits in London’s King’s Cross area. Its exact address and walking route are deliberately unspecified because the property does not exist.

Your room

Our Compact Single includes one single bed, a private shower room, a wall desk and luggage storage beneath the bed. Our Junction Double includes one double bed, hooks for coats and bags, and a small desk.

Illustrative room rates start at £115 for a Compact Single and £155 for a Junction Double per night. Breakfast is £12 per person. Prices vary by date in the fictional scenario.

Arrival, breakfast and departure

Check-in begins at 15:00. Checkout is by 11:00. Breakfast runs from 06:30 to 09:30 in our communal breakfast room, with shared tables and a simple continental selection.

Same-day luggage storage is available for overnight guests. A late arrival must be arranged in advance. Early room access is subject to availability rather than guaranteed.

Our reception team can help guests interpret their onward journey details. We do not sell rail tickets or promise a connection time.

Why Kelvorinook exists

Our fictional founder built the concept around a familiar travel problem: a short city stay still needs somewhere to put your bag, charge your phone and prepare for tomorrow.

We serve guests who value convenience and clear information. Compact rooms suit short stays; they are not intended to be large suites or long-stay apartments.

Before your stay

Accessibility: The fictional hotel has step-free entry and a lift. Two rooms have adapted bathrooms. Specific requirements would need to be confirmed before any real booking.

Are all rooms identical? No. Layouts and storage arrangements vary by room type.

Can I book a room? No. This hotel is a training scenario, and no real accommodation is offered.
