A second life for parachute fabric

Our main body fabric is upcycled ripstop nylon from retired parachute canopies. We reuse the existing fabric rather than describe the entire finished product as recycled. Zippers, thread and labels are new.

Available fabric determines the colours, so sets can vary. We see that variation as part of the material’s story. A specific colour combination is not promised.

We focus on a useful second life for an existing material. We do not claim carbon neutrality, a sustainability certification or a measured reduction in environmental impact.

Our story

Chutevori Cubes is a fictional small travel-accessory business based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It began with a simple question: could fabric that once carried people through the sky help them organize their next trip?

Our founder, Alex Morgan, travelled with one backpack and kept searching through loose clothing at each stop. The idea was to combine practical organization with a material story worth telling. The result is one focused product: a three-piece packing cube set.

We are preparing our first direct-to-consumer launch in Canada. Our immediate goal is to show people how the set works in an ordinary travel day and help them decide whether it belongs in their bag.

Made for the way you travel

Our customers use carry-on suitcases or 30–40 L backpacks. They take city breaks, rail journeys and trips with several accommodation stops. They want useful gear, clear information and fewer things to manage.

They ask practical questions before buying: Will the cubes fit my bag? What can each size hold? How much weight will they add? What makes this set worth $59?

The fabric’s past may catch their attention. Seeing the cubes work should give them a reason to keep looking.

Working with creators

We welcome thoughtful travel-content proposals that help a prospective customer understand the product. We are especially interested in packing demonstrations, arrival-and-unpacking routines, multi-stop travel stories and accurate explanations of the material.

We value specific ideas, believable situations and visible evidence. A creator who can explain the traveller problem, the intended audience and the business purpose of their idea is more useful to us than a proposal based only on follower count.

For a collaboration proposal, tell us what you would make, why it fits our customers, where we could use it, what you would deliver and what your fee and usage terms cover. Bring your own approach.

Fictional contact: Alex Morgan, founder and partnerships lead. Proposal address: partnerships@chutevori.example. This is a non-working example address. Submit exercise pitches through the route provided by your TCI instructor.

Questions before you pack

Are these compression cubes?

No. They group and organize belongings. We do not promise that you can pack more or that every bag will have extra space.

Are they waterproof?

We make no waterproof claim. Do not rely on the cubes to protect belongings from liquids.

Will they fit my carry-on?

Compare the dimensions above with the usable space inside your bag. The set is flexible, but fit depends on the bag and its other contents.

Can I choose the colours?

Colour combinations depend on available retired parachute fabric. We do not promise a particular combination.

What supports the fabric story?

Within this fictional scenario, Chutevori Cubes can supply a sourcing record and photographs of the canopies before cutting. These materials are hypothetical and are not attached to this page.
